Summer Music at St. John's

Our Chancel and Handbell Choirs will soon begin a well deserved break for the summer months. Sunday, May 25th will be their last Sunday to provide music for our worship services until September. The time has arrived for the rest of our church family here at St. Johnâs to share their musical talents and supply our special music for the summer worship services. Please volunteer your musical talents to Carole Haines. If you need assistance selecting or preparing music or would like to have piano accompaniment for your solo, please contact Carole at (717) 838-6037 or e-mail hainesterry@earthlink.net. There are thirteen Sundays open. Letâs fill them all with beautiful music to inspire our worship together!!
Phillies Baseball Trip

Saturday, Aug. 23rd. The cost is $60 and July 1st is the deadline for payment and signup. The game will be the Phillies vs. the LA Dodgers. The bus will leave the church parking lot at 12:30 pm and game time is 3:30 pm. We will depart immediately after the game and the return time will be approximately 9:30 pm.
Recipes Still Needed

Thank you to everyone who submitted recipes. We still need some recipes for vegetable side dishes and recipes for the bread/roll category. Please place them in the basket in the Adult Sunday School Room by June 8 so we can complete the book. Thank you for your cooperation.
Hershey Park Fundraiser

Are you interested in volunteering at Hershey Park in Rides or Foods Department? We would earn $5.85 per hour for your volunteer work and you can advise if you want money to go to the church or to the Relay for Life Team. Each volunteer would receive a free voucher for a Hershey Park Pass. You could then use the voucher for yourself or give it to someone in need -- so you working one day could benefit numerous ways! Volunteer spots fill up fast, so please call now if you are interested. Minimum age to volunteer is 18 years old. Ask Pat Gahres or Beaty Warlow about volunteering since they were involved last season. Call Cindy Myers to sign up to work - 865-3321.
